AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE . THE EMU
Emus are usually seen striding alone or in small groups with father
emu sometimes spotted leading a line of young chicks through the
bush or across a paddock.
They are flightless
but when alarmed can run very fast - reaching speeds of nearly
fifty kilometres an hour.
